You will find plenty of activities in either town, including horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, zip lines, dining, antique shopping, and much more.

The Thornton Gap entrance to the Shenandoah National Park is on the East side of Luray, where you can spend the day in the park, hiking trails, some with waterfalls or mountain top dining with beautiful views of the valley and is about 19 miles away. Luray Caverns is only 10 miles away, The George Washington National Forest Story Book Trail is about a 15-mile drive, and Massanutten Resort is about a 25-mile drive.

Summary: This property was my first VRBO renting experience… such a cute place, perfect size for my Mr. and I to have a quick weekend away. Almost didn’t feel the need to leave the cabin to go sightseeing on Saturday… felt so cozy and comfortable! Check-in & check-out process was so easy… I hope EVERY rental will be like this one!!! The bar has been set pretty high!!! 🍁🍂
