Summary: We are a family of 4 with a 13 year old and 8 year old and this was well worth the stay. Although we only live an hour away from Sonoma County, this was much more relaxing than staying in a cold and generic hotel! The property is absolutely beautiful, nicely decorated and laid out, quiet, and exactly what our family needed as a change of scenery from living in an urban environment. Waking up to birds chirping and wind chimes was a nice change of pace. We did not get a chance to swim in the pool as much as we had hoped because by the time we got there, the short heatwave in April ended and it was too cold to jump in after our first day (the pool is not heated but we were well aware of that as it’s clearly noted in the posting). Regardless, we all had a great time. Our youngest lives with Autism and being able to just walk around the property with her and allow her to explore the outdoor area was awesome as well. The property is well maintained and super clean. We also loved how communicative Bethany was leading up to our stay! She clearly cares deeply about guests who choose to stay in her and her family’s home. Bethany even shared her favorite spots and where to get good eats and wine tastings. We really felt taken care of. Honestly, we didn’t go out as much as we thought we would because it was so nice for my husband and I to just sit outside with a bottle of wine and relax around the seating areas available. We definitely hope to be able to come back for another stay in the future, and for a little longer than a few nights. My eldest told me she misses the house already! 🙂
