Summary: Stayed here nearly 12 years ago murphy bed mattress was old and rough couch was outdated and you sink in, not in a good way the rugs on the walls and especially the floors were gross but we enjoyed the area so much we decided to make back for our 30th anniversary booked 7 days for over 200 a night Thinking SURELY since so many years have gone by some updates had been made and NO update has been made, same broken down mattress same dirty sinking couch, same filthy rugs. This time nothing was stocked we had A roll of toilet paper for a 7 day stay , the dish cabinet hasn't been cleaned out in awhile there was a very ancient bottle of chili tabasco that smelled so bad and stuck in the wood we cleaned it out but the smell is there. We scoured the garage for supplies and found a locked cabinet that was unlocked thank goodness. We used the toilet paper I brought from home and town isn't across the street. The hot tub was filthy and yellow we had to amend that for two days before we could use it. Thank goodness I found those supplies in the garage for that. This stay really bummed us out. We could not sleep one single night in the same bed..we switched back and forth thats a drag on your 30th anniversary vaca week you saved a year for. Sure we are a decade older and 50 but I honestly don't see how any couple of any age could get a solid night sleep in that thing. Anyway we were hoping to re-book in a couple months unfortunately we will not be returning a 3rd time. Nice area though
