Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location was good, just off the interstate. The breakfast was the standard served at most hotels just off the highway, ok but nothing special.

Negative: It was a January night and -5 when we checked in. The heat wasn't on, and we couldn't get the heater going. The manager came in and got it working, but when I asked for a new room, he told me it would warm up fast. What was he thinking? My wife and I had been driving all day and just wanted to settle in and relax, not wait 30 minutes or more for the freezing room to finally get warm! He later relented and moved us after I was firmer in my request. I was not impressed that his first response was not to consider our comfort, but to expect us to stay in the room. I didn't like being made to feel I was unreasonable in asking to move.
