The amenities of Invermere (groceries, liquor, Canadian Tire are only a 6 min drive. Panorama Mountain Resort is a further 20 min up the mountain from Invermere. Valley Alley (bowling and ice cream) is two minutes up the road. There is a gas station directly across the highway.
Akiskinook is a gated, private resident community on Lake Windermere (the sunny side of the lake).
