Summary: Plenty to do at the resort for a few days(mini golf, arcade, pool, and water Park. Not much in the immediate area. Drive to a grocery store was about 15-20 min. Great 2 bedroom and a nice kitchen. We drove in to Chicago two days, it was just over an hour. The only thing we wished was that the hot tub was open during the winter/early spring, and that the water park had extended hours for spring break. They did this for one week. But it didn't align with our stay.
