3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home located on Susan Lake. Susan Lake is 5.4 miles from downtown Charlevoix. It’s a shallow, narrow lake, and flows out the northern end 2 miles emptying into Lake Michigan. Enjoy the call of loons on Susan Lake, or kayak and fish the spring-fed waters.
Campfire pit, firewood and outdoor seating is also provided. Quiet time starts at 10:00 pm when outside.
Dogs are allowed, any size, but MUST BE ON LEASH when outside. This is mandatory. My neighbors have dogs and there are free range chickens right across the road. There is a $45 pet fee.
Miles of hiking trails through untouched forest and stunning water views from hilltops nearby. Several parks with stunning views and fishing piers are also located in the area.

Summary: We were looking for a cozy cottage on a lake in a secluded area and this property was just what we wanted. The view was lovely, the surroundings were peaceful, the house was clean and had all the necessary amenities available for our use. Kathy was a great host and responded quickly when we had questions. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
