Stylish vintage-modern terrace 2 bd apartment in the heart of Lynchburg's beloved Rivermont Ave. Private space with full kitchen convenient to everywhere: 2 blocks to Randolph College, under 5 min to hospitals, 15 min to Liberty U, 8 min to Univ of L, 8 min to downtown. Cozy and safe. Walking distance to restaurants with on-site massage studio upstairs. Access to walking/biking trails 4 min away.

This terrace level apartment is in an excellent, safe and desirable location on Rivermont Ave. It shares a building with a part-time chiropractic office and massage/facial studio upstairs during business hours, but guests have the place to themselves nights and weekends.

OUTSIDE: parking is in back of building, private steps lead down to entrance to apartment.

CLIMATE CONTROL: In the winter months, the terrace apartment is equipped with radiator heat that is run by a wall thermostat that keeps it nice and warm for guests. A stand-up fan is provided in each bedroom for guests who like to stay cool as they sleep. In warmer months, the apartment naturally stays cool, but a window unit is provided for guests' added comfort.

Because the apartment shares a building with a chiropractic office, it's important for guests to know that on M/W/F afternoons from approximately 12-6pm, there is a potential to hear typical business noise upstairs as the adjustment table is being raised/lowered. The apartment is well-suited for travelers who don't plan to be in the apartment during those hours or don't mind the temporary inconvenience of a part time business upstairs.

Summary: We enjoyed our quiet weekend in the Rivermont neighborhood. The apartment was tastefully decorated in a cool vintage theme. Although a basement apartment it had plenty of natural light. Great off street parking for one car, full size fridge, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We would stay again!
