Lovely, private Ditch Plains beach cottage close enough to hear the breaking waves from the deck. This house is ideal for a family looking to enjoy the beach and waves. Ditch Plains beach is an easy 5 minute walk from the house. The house is bordered by woods on three sides and features a large private deck in the back. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a full bath, and an open floor plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for use. The upstairs bedrooms feature a queen bed in one and a single in the other. Downstairs is a bedroom with queen bed, a half bath, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a sitting area. Air conditioning is newly installed on both levels of the house. Downstairs the combination of air conditioning and dehumidifier keeps the area dry and cool. There is an outdoor shower downstairs for cleaning up after a day at the beach. The large deck has a propane grill, table, chairs, and umbrella. Four bicycles are provided for use, along with a large children's jogging stroller that is handy for transporting people or gear to the beach. Internet and cable TV are included.

Summary: Great location where walking to the beach was easy. Overall good setup. House is a bit dated and family room furniture was not the most comfortable. The deck is wonderful. We ate dinner outside ever night and we could hear the ocean. Having a washer and dryer on premises was an added bonus.
