This gorgeous, free-standing home impresses from the moment you step through the large, bespoke entry doors that open into a lushly landscaped courtyard. A meandering pathway beckons you toward the main house. The espaliered trees on your left are growing up outside the detached guest house, which is just one of the many wonderful surprises awaiting you when you rent "Luxe Life".

The casita (a.k.a. guest house) is decorated with designer furnishings and beautiful paintings. A built-in workspace and a wet bar bookend the natural gas fireplace. The en-suite bathroom has a soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and a large walk-in closet. For those who find the need to work remotely, this can make for a very private office space. The sofa converts to a Queen-sized bed, making this a great place for an overnight guest.

Opposite the courtyard is the entry intothe main house. Truly, an entertainer’s dream; greeted by a baby grand piano, the space opens up into a large living room with enough comfortable seating for twelve adults, an oversized Smart TV hangs above a natural gas fireplace surrounded by white marble climbing to the top of the 14-foot ceilings. The carefully curated sculptures are deliberately displayed on lighted shelves that flank the fireplace. All are lit from above by a contemporary crystal chandelier.

However, the real attention-grabber is the light pouring in from the floor-to-ceiling windows along the back of the room looking out to the resort-like oasis. Before going outside, you stop at the fully stocked sunken bar with seating for 4. Pour yourself something refreshing and walk out into paradise.

The lanai is furnished as an al fresco living room with another large Smart TV hanging on the wall opposite oversized seating, all situated under a large overhang. If the shade isn’t enough to keep you comfortable, a cool mist falls from above when you engage the water misters bordering the outdoor space.

The beautiful free-form infinity pool faces south offering the most sought-after view in all of Southern California. Imagine the waters of the pool as they fall into the lake just beyond. On the other side of the lake is the perfectly manicured fairway framed by the well-designed xeriscape. Towering over the expanse are the purple San Jacinto Mountains and the clouds colored red, purple, and orange that splash across the sky when the sun sets behind those mountains every night.

There is a hot tub with a privacy enclosure, a thoughtfully designed outdoor kitchen with a 4-burner gas grill, and a refrigerator. On the opposite side of the backyard oasis is a large sectional encircling a fire pit for those social gatherings that don’t end when the sun sets. Every corner of the outside space is punctuated with an original sculpture or ancient statue. The epitome of the indoor-outdoor Palm Springs lifestyle.

Entering back into the house on the west side brings you into the dining room, with enough seating for 12 adults. This culinary wing of the estate takes the concept of a “chef’s table” (the kind that can only be found in the finest Michelin-star restaurants in the world) and brings it home, making the display kitchen the focus of this great room. Every imaginable gourmet cooking utensil, small appliance, and tool can be found here. There is a walk-in pantry and a large center island on which to stage plates for a large dinner party or prepare a gourmet snack to enjoy out by the pool. A sub-zero refrigerator, 6-burner gas stove, three large ovens, and a workspace with a large screen smart TV make this every home chef's dream.

A long hallway leads to the sleeping quarters.The primary bedroom has a beautiful four-poster bed, large flat screen smart TV, ceiling fan, and a completely outfitted home gym with a complete set of weights, bench, stair-climber, and a smart interactive workout mirror. The primary bathroom has a large soaking tub, large walk-in shower, separate vanities, and two walk-in dressing rooms.

Bedroom number two has a king-sized bed, ensuite bath, and huge closet. Bedroom number three is configured as an office but has a queen-sized convertible sofa. Each bed is dressed in luxury bedding and pillows and each bathroom has large thirsty towels and oversized bathrobes.
