Robin's Nest I has recently undergone an extensive renovation throughout the home. Granite counter tops have been added to the kitchen, new flooring, both showers have been updated, along with new pedestal sinks in the bathrooms. Fresh paint to the walls, and new furniture.
Robin's Nest I has been welcoming guests since July 13, 2009, as a way to thank our military families, and to offer a home away from home to Lackland AFB BMT families, as well as visitors to Sea World, Fiesta Texas, The Riverwalk, Ft. Sam Houston, and other points of interest in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout the years, Lackland AFB BMT families have been welcomed to our home to reunite and spend time with family and friends. We offer a discounted BMT rate and no-risk, no-cost "recycle policy" refund. Lackland AFB is a short 15 minute drive from Robin's Nest I, which makes this home a true Lackland vacation rental. Over the years, I have connected with many Lackland BMT families and have incorporated what is important to make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
With Sea World a short 2 miles from Robin's Nest I, the convenience of visiting the park is paramount. The Riverwalk is a 20 minute drive to downtown. With major thoroughfares nearby, most of the city is within easy access.
Robin's Nest I also welcomes longer term stays. This home is perfect for families to enjoy. A high chair and pack-and-play is at the house to be used as needed.
This home was our home for 18 years, and the location is fabulous! With me being an avid gardener, while we made the location our home, we installed a beautiful wrought iron fence so that I could enjoy gardening with an English garden theme. This neighborhood is very established and we enjoy greeting our neighbors who have stayed throughout the years. The master bedroom is on the first floor, and the other two bedrooms are on the second floor. The back yard has a very large covered patio with a bar style patio set. Most of the yard is covered with trees which makes for a very pleasant stay in the summer months of San Antonio; which is a wonderful city to visit no matter which season.
Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable, relaxing stay while you are in San Antonio. We are honored to welcome many Lackland AFB BMT families, along with Sea World visitors. Please take a moment to read our guest comments.
We enjoyed welcoming Lackland AFB BMT families so much that we expanded to include Robin's Nest II. Lackland and Sea World visitors have been enjoying the inviting warmth of Robin's Nest II since March 2010. Robin's Nest II is just around the corner from Robin's Nest I. Our second 'Nest' is the same size as the original Robin's Nest, same neighborhood, single story. Both houses can be rented to accommodate large parties such as a family reunion. Robin's Nest II can be viewed via vrbo #292354. We have recently added Robin's Nest IV, which is the same floorplan as Robin's Nest II. All three Robin's Nests are in a very vibrant and growing area of San Antonio. There are shopping centers and restaurants within five minutes. HEB Plus grocery store is less than three minutes away, a major shopping center is less than 10 minutes away. With the exception of Sea World, which is minutes away, all other major San Antonio attractions are easy to reach due to accessibility of major thoroughfares.

In January 2018, my family was honored to watch a close member of our family graduate from BMT. Throughout the years, I heard feedback about the ceremonies, and finally was able to experience it for myself. The whole process is spectacular!
