Summary: Pleasant suite. Bed was comfortable but sofa was not at all. Overall the suite was clean, except floor and carpet which were dirty - my socks were filthy from walking around the apartment.

Summary: Interior of the hotel suites is very clean and no issues. The only issue is crowded parking and garbage outside of room areas is overflowing. The people who work at the hotel are all very kind and friendly. The bed is very nice. The cleaning crew who turns over the suites work very hard to make sure the interiors are spotless.

Summary: Room was clean and comfortable. Quiet environment near many restaurants, shopping and easy access to highways. No coffee cups and when requested one, did not receive it. Dinnerware and utensils seemed to have been raided by previous guests. Otherwise, very nice stay.

Summary: I want to start with the staff being excellent. We were there 5 nights and every interaction was professional and pleasant. Ine of us stayed at Sonesta in Anaheim in May and was very pmeased with room, etc. Our unit, however, on this trip to Lombard, needed some TLC. The rug needed a shampoo with old stains and newish (ketchup?) in front of the couch. (I can attach photos) and the living room chair was broken, so we did not sit in it. The couch was frayed and dirty on the light fabric so we did not sit in it at all. While signs throughout said ‘no smoking’ and posted a fine, the room smelled of cigarettes (which I think was especially strong in the curtains). To mitigate, there were two really strong Plug-In air fresheners which we had to take outside and place on the stairwell as one in our party is highly scent sensitive and gets headaches with strong smells. We were there for a family reunion, and found there were no other units and complaining while there to staff who would be able to change little seemed counterproductive but clearly, there is investment going into this property with the beds and kitchen updates. I cannot imagine trying to keep carpet clean when people stay long term but we thought you might want to know of our observations. Pluses: The bed was great: both clean and comfy. The kitchen was clean and so was the bathroom! And aircon was great, too.
