Welcome to our beautiful property. We are in the small town of Arroyo Seco/Des Montes Area, right over the Beautiful and Historic Valdez Valley, surrounded by the Rocky mountain foothills.
We are right off the Upper Rim Road between State Rd. 230 and NM150, We are Padilla Lane. 8 miles to the Taos Ski Valley Resort from our door.

Northern NM, one of the last of free open places in USA. 2200 square miles and minimally populated with time, history, culture, and an earthly gift for all of us.

The Elk are coming down from the mountains and we have such beautiful powder right now. 3/22

Our apartment is very clean and private with a fenced in yard and two entrances, shade trees and lawn. Full kitchen, Queen Bed, Futon in Living Room sleeps 2, pet friendly, enclosed private yard. Parking for 2 vehicles. Beautiful Surroundings, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Skiing, Snow Boarding.
If you know Taos and Arroyo Seco/Des Montes area you get it.

Pet friendly Must Pay Pet Fee $50 per pet. No pets on bed or furniture. We are dog friendly but require you pick up after your dogs to help keep our lawns and walkways clean. We have the best dog walk along the Rim Road ever. Views to die for.

You must pay a $50 pet fee per pet. Our furry friends have a lot of hair and Yavanne has a struggle cleaning our place for new guests. Please do not allow your pets on couches, futons, or beds.
We are right next door and leave our guests privacy. We try to stay Covid Save. Many restaurants are providing wonderful Carry Out options. Please come and enjoy Taos and please help keep our special area safe!

Summary: The one bedroom bungalow behind the owners' house has its own completely fenced yard which was great for our dog. The queen sized bed was comfortable as was the futon and there were many comforters and pillows for warmth. The furnace did a great job keeping the place warm in 10 degree weather. It was all very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back.
