- Quiet hours are from 9 pm.

- While we love all furry friends, pets are not allowed.

- For your convenience we have keyless entry and a customized code to access your temporary home. We encourage you to write your code down and keep the code in a safe place. If you have been locked out, please contact the host manager immediately. We will do our best to get you back in as quickly as possible, however, be advised that it can take up to 30 minutes to an hour for help to reach you.

- Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning so it can be rectified. However, all damages or missing items will need to be paid for by you before departure.

- The sofa in the downstairs studio is also a pull out sofa but is not for guest’s use.
- All remotes for TVs and the fireplaces are to be returned to the appropriate rooms as labeled.

- We care about your stay and that certainly includes providing a safe environment for families with little ones. Please ensure, children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian, at all times.

- Both fireplaces, (one in the main cabin and the other in the downstairs studio) must be switched off when not in use and upon departure. Please refer to Appliance and Electricals Manual listed in the Welcome Guide, located on the coffee table of the den for further instructions on how to do so.

- For fire prevention and safety please do not leave any electrical appliances switched on when they are not in use, or when you are leaving for the day. This includes but is not limited to, ovens, coffee machines, fans, hair straighteners and portable device chargers.

- Smoking is not allowed inside the home, which includes screened in porch. Feel free to smoke outside at the designated smoking area to the right of the property. Please discard outed cigarette buds in the trash can to the right of the property. Do not throw cigarette buds in the trash cans inside the house. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains found in the home may be applied.

- When leaving, all final dishes are to be put in the dishwasher and set the cycle to run.

- Our driveway is suitable for sedans or smaller SUVs for up to 2 cars. You may also park in front of the open lot of land to the right of the property. For your safety and the safety of your vehicle, please use caution when parking on the road.

- As with all appliances and amenities, you will find it clean on your arrival, with the understanding, it will be left clean after use.

- Do not rearrange the furniture inside the home.

- To maintain the peaceful serenity of your vacation home and to not disturb the other residents on and around the lake, we do not allow parties in our home.

Summary: We traveled with another couple to lake Lanier for a friend’s wedding. The cabin was 8 minutes from the wedding site. We explored both Landrum and Tryon, where we found great food and nice people. The Walking Bear cabin was super clean and tidy. Everything we needed was readily available. We had an amazing weekend and would love to return again for another visit! We were surprised to discover the 2nd bath & private bedroom was only accessible from outdoors. I probably did not read the description carefully enough. It worked well for 2 couples. We each had plenty of privacy. Thanks for sharing this great property!
