Lake level, as of June 10 2024, water now accessible from our property. This charming cabin has everything you need for a lakeside getaway and just 15 minutes from the town of Burnet. You get lake views from almost every room in this house! The cozy three bedrooms all have comfortable queen size beds and plenty of space for your personal items. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to prepare your meals. The dining room has seating for six and is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal or play a board game. From here you can go out on to the expansive deck that wraps around to the back of the house with gorgeous views of Lake Buchanan. Take your morning coffee on the back deck daybed and watch the ducks, heron and other native wildlife. Head back inside to the living room and enjoy the wood burning fireplace or a movie with the family. This room offers plenty of seating for everyone. Even two futons if you want to stretch out! The main floor has one full bathroom with a standup shower. Ready to head down to the lake? Take the stairs on the side of the property to yet another large deck and seating area with a comfy sectional! On this level you will find the second full bathroom and laundry room. This deck also leads to a large private dock, perfect for boating, swimming, fishing or stargazing. We have two kayaks and a paddleboard available for use as well.
Things to note about our property:
* There are stairs going up to the house and down to the lake.
*The road leading to our home is narrow please drive slow and take your time.
* Our driveway is steep feel free to park at the top if you aren't comfortable pulling down.
*We welcome children but be aware children will need to be supervised at all times as we have direct access to the lake.
Our Pet Policy:
*Pets must be leashed, we have a portion of the yard fenced but it is not pet proof and your furry friend could easily get out. The lakeside of our property is not fenced.
*Do not leave your pet unattended in our home. Please bring a crate if you plan on leaving.
* We prefer pets stay off furniture but if you know your fur baby just can't stay off please bring a blanket to cover our furniture.
