Affectionally referred to as The Lake House, this is a beautiful waterfront property with a large deck overlooking the lake and positioned on a private lot on route 147/Baileyville Road in Middlefield. The house has water views from most of the rooms with a great kitchen, dinning area, living room, office on the first floor. The 2nd floor has three bedrooms, two baths and a laundry room. The master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the lake and the bathroom has a jacuzzi/whirlpool tub.

Summary: Nice house, except for damp basement, which is not unusual. However, I had real issues with host. We were charged extra for inside smoking, which we did not do. Without personally checking further, the host acted from an unsubstantiated note from next tenants. Would have taken responsibility if we had done this.
