Blue Elm is a four-season cabin in the White Lake community, just a 3-minute walk to the beach with deeded lake rights, kayak and canoe access, and easy access to the Old Forge snowmobile trail system — one of the larger groomed trail networks in the Adirondacks.
Winters here are built for it: central heat keeps the whole cabin warm, with wood-burning stoves in both the living room and the four-season sunroom for the kind of heat that only a real fire gives you after a day on the trails. The driveway runs the length of the house — roughly 75 feet of open parking on a dead-end street, with plenty of room for a trailer. The sunroom itself is wrapped in windows on nearly every side with views over the backyard, and a porch off the front of the living room offers a second spot to sit outside. The open kitchen and dining space make it easy to cook for a full group.
Four bedrooms across two floors. Downstairs, the master bedroom has a queen bed and a desk (a handy spot to work if you need to), and a bunkroom sleeps four with twin beds; the full bathroom downstairs has both a shower and a tub.
