There are three nearby river access and fishing areas, giving guests several options for enjoying the water. The closest Missouri River access is approximately 0.1 mile from the house and is an easy walk or short drive. Two additional fishing areas are nearby, including a more secluded spot approximately 0.3 mile away.

Guest Access
Guests have access to:
* Entire guest living quarters
* Approximately one acre of outdoor space
* Covered porch
* Fire pit and outdoor areas
* Designated partitioned garage/pet area
* Gravel driveway and designated parking area
Guests will be asked to provide their preferred 4-digit door code before check-in. The code provides access through the front porch door and two exterior doors on the west side of the home, including the designated garage-area entry door.
Parking & Arrival
Please use the driveway entrance off Poplar Road, NOT Main Street, and park directly in front of the garage doors.
Please do not drive or park on the Main Street side of the property. The septic system is located near the front porch in this area, and there is also loose rock.
The main garage is private and is not available for guest use. The interior door leading from the designated garage area to the private main garage remains locked.
My parents store a few personal items in the private garage area and generally only stop by when the home is vacant. On the rare occasion they need access during a guest’s stay, they will only enter the private garage area and will never enter the guest living space.
Pets, Hunting Dogs & Service Animals
Service animals are welcome in accordance with VRBO’s applicable service-animal policies.
Due to allergies, cats are not permitted.
Approved Indoor Dogs
Dogs specifically approved in advance for an indoor stay are welcome with the following guidelines:
* One-time $25 fee per dog
* Dogs must remain off all furniture
* Dogs must not chew or damage furnishings
* Dogs must be taken outside regularly
* Dogs should not be left unattended indoors unless crated
* Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for any pet-related damage
Hunting Dogs & Garage Pet Area
Approved pets and hunting dogs may stay in the designated partitioned garage area at no additional charge. This area is located between the living quarters and the private main garage and can be accessed through the laundry room or exterior garage-area door.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up pet waste, accidents, excessive hair, mud, or other pet-related messes before checkout.
Pets are not permitted inside the living quarters unless they are service animals or have been specifically approved in advance for an indoor stay.
Please supervise pets while outdoors and clean up after them throughout your stay.
