Positive: We were on the road for a week, coming out to Colorado for two funerals- and this was the best sleep my wife and I had the whole trip. Having a king size bed was very nice, and the shower temperatures and pressure were perfect.

Negative: I feel we were greatly misled by the description of this property, and were taken advantage of by the price. “Private Mountain Cottage” actually means mini suite over a garage, but you don’t learn that until later and there is no option for a refund. Private to them means traffic in and out of the main home (which is feet from your doorstep). Amazon packages being delivered and construction happening all around. Cottage actually means mini suite over a garage you can’t use with a narrow uneven staircase to heft your luggage up. Also, not actually two beds, it’s a king bed on a queen frame (that falls over if you sit to tie your shoes) and a stained couch that converts into a bigger couch- not really a bed. 8 acres… maybe? We couldn’t tell between all the fencing, rules about their animals and the written warnings that the neighbors would call the cops on us. When we tried to enjoy the property, we were chased off by two large off leash dogs. Did I mention the loft? The photos show a cute staircase to a loft (where I assumed the other bed was), but you aren’t allowed up there, and there is no bed.
